In a hushed corner of Wickwood, where the grasses grow tall and the flowers lean close to listen, there is a place known only to those who understand the language of lantern-light.
Here, beneath the watchful moon, the small folk gather when the night feels soft enough for secrets. They come quietly at first, from burrows, bloom-shadows, curled leaves and mossy doorways, each carrying a little light, a little hope, or a little story saved especially for the dark.
No one can say exactly when the Moon Whisper Gatherings began. Some say they were first held to celebrate a birthday beneath a silvery sky. Others believe they are much older than that, a ritual of gratitude, held whenever the moon is bright enough to remind Wickwood that even the smallest glow matters.
Whatever the reason, the gatherings always begin the same way.
A lamp is lit.
A flower bends closer.
And somewhere in the stillness, the moon listens.
